BECOME A BUDDY
– Help a player during the game
– Provide support & encouragement while ensuring the player’s safety
– Attend the team’s games each Saturday for one hour & to arrive 30 minutes prior to game
– Season-long commitment, sign the “Buddy Pledge” and receive community service hours
– Develop a very special, rewarding relationship
– Must be at least 12 years old
BE A VOLUNTEER
– Umpires
– Information/check-in
– Concession Stand (Must be 16)
– Clean-up
– Awards & Fundraising Events
BECOME A COACH
– Provide guidance, encouragement and compassion to the players
– Make phone calls to players
– Up to three coaches per team
– Range from high school students to senior citizens
– Required to arrive 30 minutes before their game each Saturday
– Games last for one hour, and there are no practices
